Divorce is an unfortunate reality for many couples. No matter how much love and commitment you have for each other, sometimes it just doesn’t work out. Although it is never a preferred outcome, it is often the only way to move forward and find new happiness when a relationship has become too toxic or damaged to repair.
It is important to understand that we are not advocating divorce because that is against Christian principles. But imagine this. You sleep in separate rooms with your spouse and do not talk to each other. You both live separate lives seeing other people or one partner habitually breaks the marriage covenant with no remorse. Your partner sells drugs and beats you or your children. Is that what God wants for you? Would you just stay in that marriage? Is there an allowance for situations where divorce is the only thing that makes sense?
Well, to answer these questions and many more, join this conversation with our guests, Alisha Chandler & Annette McElroy. They open up to share their vulnerabilities and the wisdom they have gained over the years after divorce. Alisha is an accomplished successful multiple business owner with more than 17 years of experience in property management, graphic design, and compliance consultancy. She is inspired daily by her husband of 14 years in marriage and her four children. Annette was married for six years before getting a divorce, and she has been in that state for 29 years now. Annette has one daughter and two grandchildren.
