Black Men & Mental Health

One in ten black men are living with depression. Most men in the black community think they can figure it all out by themselves and do not know how to talk about their emotional experiences.

We teach boys not to be cry babies or share their emotions. However, as they grow, it leads to isolation, anger, and resentment, which affects their marriage or other relationships with people.

In today’s episode, I share the main reasons men do not seek out help, the challenges black men face, and how we can support black men in being vulnerable. This episode has all you need for your mental health, being a better version of yourself, and how we can break down the cycle for a better future generation.
